Gratitude for grandparents is a heartfelt tradition at Lutheran. This event allows the LuHi community to express appreciation for the significant roles grandparents play in our lives, especially because most of the time, the gratitude for our grandparents may get overlooked as we experience life apart from them for the most part.
When Freshman Charlotte Evans was asked what her grandparents meant to her, she smiled and said, “I love my grandparents so much, and they are always there when I need them, and they’re always there to talk!”
Students at LuHi are taking a step and showing our grandparents that they are loved and appreciated by writing heartfelt cards on Wednesday, February 5. This serves as a reminder of the close bond and love that each one of us shares with our grandparents, and it is also a way to celebrate the influence and compassion that they show. Each card is a meaningful gesture that brings joy to them. Ultimately, this event honors the profound impact that grandparents have on our lives, so don’t forget to send out a letter this Wednesday.
