With Lutheran Homecoming happening this weekend, student anticipation is arising. With it, Lutheran High School students are getting excited about the upcoming dance, getting ready for a fun night with friends and fellow classmates that they will never forget.
Chloe Abramson, a senior at Lutheran, is really looking forward to homecoming and says, “I’m pretty sad that it’s going to be my last homecoming but I think it will be the most memorable one.” Chloe’s advice to any new freshman going to homecoming for the first time is to just enjoy it and try to make it something fun that you can remember.
A freshman at Lutheran, Tatum Ritter, is also super thrilled for the dance, especially since it’s going to be her first one. She shares that, “Although I’m a little nervous for the dance, I feel it’s going to be a cool opportunity to hang out and make memories with my friends outside of the usual classroom environment.” Her feelings are largely shared by the rest of the freshman student body at Lutheran, many being excited to experience their first high school dance.
While the freshmen prepare for a memorable first homecoming, seniors look back upon the previous three dances, looking forward to their final spin. Everyone, whether it be their first or last dance, or anywhere in between, can show off their pride for the school as they cheer on Lutheran in fantastic outfits embodying the Olympic theme.
The Homecoming dance is an unforgettable experience that nobody wants to miss out on. It’s not only a way to connect with peers on a deeper level, but it’s also a great way to show school spirit. Although it can be bittersweet for the seniors to be going to their last homecoming dance, it’s a great way to bring up the memories they’ve made in past years and it’s a great way for freshmen to start to make these memories.
