Last Monday night, an enchanting candlelight event unfolded at Lutheran High School, drawing mothers and daughters together to celebrate what is to come in the new season! This annual gathering has become a cherished tradition, fostering connections between mothers and daughters and our heavenly father. The candlelight provides a meaningful opportunity to meet new women with a warm heart during the holiday season.
As everyone arrived, they were greeted by the captivating sound of live music by Mr. Zoeller. The lively Christmas music floated through the air, blending seamlessly with laughter and conversation. Tables adorned with festive decorations offered delicious treats and warm beverages, as new friendships were made.
Throughout the evening, a special ceremony took place. Candles were lit in unison, symbolizing the faith and love to the Lord. It was an important reminder of the love found in the community and in God.
Here is a quote from freshman Abby Osentoski” [My favorite part was] probably meeting all of the new girls at my table and when all of the girls had the candles and sang the Christmas songs… I love having a goldy community!”
Once the evening drew to a close, mothers and daughters left with the glow of candlelight in their hearts and a hopeful soul with the new season up ahead. The Luhi Candlelight Event once again proved to be an unforgettable evening, leaving everyone excited for the season. The love, laughter, and shared devotion to the Lord created an atmosphere of joy that will echo, reminding us all of the true meaning of the holiday season.
