Going 11 and 8 this season, Lutheran’s Boy’s Basketball team exhibits togetherness, discipline, and resilience on and off the court. During their game against Air Force Academy they proved their determination and fight. This game was a great example of how putting in the work pays off. Air Force Academy, 11 to 6, and Lutheran battle head to head with a 75th and 76th ranking in Colorado, setting a rivalry among Lions and Cadets.
In the first quarter the Lions pull ahead showing the Cadets what they’re made of. With swift passes, intentional moves, and intense defense the Lions keep the lead going into half time. During half time the team gathers in a huddle around the bench, all attention is focused on the coach and the game plan. Coming out from halftime, the Lions stay fierce and don’t let up through the 4th quarter securing a Lutheran victory.
